Family owned since 1794, Josh Palmer and Head Brewer Darren Batten will join us in the bar to discuss Palmers award-winning ales.

Palmers ales are brewed in one of Britain’s oldest and prettiest breweries, near Bridport. The only thatched brewery in the UK, Palmers fine ales are brewed using water from their own naturally rising spring.

Using only the finest Maris Otter malt and carefully selected whole leaf hops, they produce ales in the traditional manner in which they have been made for generations. Palmers historic brewhouse has traditional Mash Tuns, open top Coppers with top fermentation, which only a handful of brewers still use today.
