Here at The Inn at Freshford we take enormous pride in providing an exceptional experience to our guests every day.
Matt Briddon, our Executive Chef, ensures we use only the best quality fresh, seasonal and local produce (much of which comes from our neighbouring Iford Estate) to create imaginative dishes from scratch, with our nose to tail (and root to leaf) ethos meaning there is minimal waste. Our kitchen team uses time-honoured skills to make things the proper way, avoiding preservatives and other modern ‘cheats’, whilst developing and perfecting skills such as butchery, baking, patisserie and sauce-making for the group’s three kitchens.
Paying attention to detail matters to us – from sourcing to plating, perfect cellarage to a carefully curated wine list, and from décor to quality of service - we seek to ensure our customers leave fulfilled and see the pub as a home from home.
